Is this a good exercise plan?
is this a good exercise plan? sorry for this being kinda long… and dont mention food i am eating healthy no worry there i am talking about excersise
i am 14 years old 5′3 and 135 i want to lose 10 to 15 pounds ( my doctor said that losing that amount would be fine. i am eating right. i want to not only lose that weight but tone up and have a flatter stomach.

      hmmm, switch up so the cardio (bike) is 6 days a week, then put the resistance exercise mon/wed/fri

      i think u need 2 rest days instead of one. your body needs time to recharge. maybe make it on wednsday and shift your schedule around a bit? but otherwise it’s fine. just remember to eat healthy!

      it is good, but the weight will NOT come off with the toning exercises. you lose fat/weight by doing cardio exercise (running,jogging,swimming,etc.) about 4-5x a week for at least 30 mins. Therefore, if you decided to go for a jog or run for 30 minutes or split up the time running and swimming, you will see WONDERS happen to your body. Good luck im sure you will look great!

      A big thing to remember about toning is that muscle is built by tearing and then healing. It might be a good idea to take a break between the days you do ab workouts. They are so rough on your stomach muscles that you should focus on doing more in one day (say 45 minutes worth) and then take a day to let them heal before ripping them again. Arms are worse so if you are lifting weights you should take two days in between. You don’t want to hurt yourself. Also remember that muscle weighs more than fat, so you may end up only losing 5 or 6 lbs total but looking like you lost 10, which is your goal, so don’t go crazy trying to lose more weight based on what the scale says.

      Pretty good, but here is some tips. You want to do some type of cardio three to four times a week. running, biking, swimming, ect. When running run for mintues, sprint for one minute, run for another ten minutes, sprint for the last minute. It tones legs faster. For biking, you can bike outside, or cycle at the gym. Lastly swimming is one of the best cardio exersises. Do not just do free style though, do breast stroke, back stroke and butterfly as well. The other days you should do strength and weight lifting exersises along with your push-up and sit-ups. Use hand weights to tone triceps and biceps. While holding weights in hands you can do lungs and squats to help tone your lower half. Do not forget to stretch before and after working out and drink a lot of water while working out. One bottle before, one during and one after. Also do not eat at least two hours before you workout because you want to burn fat that is alrady on you not food you just ate. After you exersise you have 45 minutes to replenish your muscles with the raw materials you lost. Eat foods that contain protein, some complex carbohydrates and some healthy fats too. Like a nutrition bar, turkey sandwich on wheat bread, bannana. Best of luck!
