1. How many pairs of chromosomes are there?
2. What is the haploid number of chromosomes?
3. During metaphase of mitosis, how many chromatids are present in the cell?
4. During anaphase of meosis I how many telomeres are present in the cell?
5. X chromosome is large and submetacentric and Y chromosome is small and acrocentric. All of the autosomes are medium and metacentric. Draw a) somatic cell in anaphse of mitosis, b) cell undergoing gametogensis in metaphase I, and c) cell in metaphase II of meiosis II.
