I'm working out.. and currently trying to gain Lean muscle mass without all the fat. My question is.. if I eat my regular 6 meals a day and get a good amount of protein in my diet without creating a calorie surplus (1 gram of protein per pound of body weight ratio).. will I gain muscle?

first that may be too much protein. try 1.0 - 1.2 grams protein per kilogram of body weight. if you eat too much protein it will just be used for kcalories instead muscle building anyway. and eating too much protein can lead to problems and puts a strain on your kidneys because of all the extra nitrogen in the protein.
but working out, eating a little bit more protein should help gain muscle mass. working out is the key.

Well that depends if your a person who cant put on muscle it probably wont have any effect some people are just born that way
But mabey you do just need a little shove in the right direction in which case it would probably help
