Is this a good exercise routine?

Hey guys

I am a 5'5 215lb over wight male. I am curently working on a exercise plan that i would like your opinion on. I would like to know if i should change any part of it or do something different. My goal is to lose 40lb yet get stonger by the end of sept. or octorber, so i can join the army. I would only like professional fitness trainers to answer this question.

Sunday: 30 min jogging on treadmill, 30 min cycling, 500 crunches, 100 knee pushups, 250 situps.( cunches, push n situps are done over time)

monday: 30 min cycling, 200 crunches, 50 pushups, 100 situps and about 1 1/2 hour of lower body exercise.

Tuesday: off

wednesday: 30 min jogging on treadmill, 30 min cycling, 500 crunches, 100 knee pushups, 200 situps.

Thursday: 30 min cycling, 200 crunches, 50 pushups, 100 situps and about 1 1/2 hour of upper body exercise

Friday: Off

Saturday: 30 min jogging on treadmill, 30 min cycling, 500 crunches, 100 knee pushups, 200 situps.

I keep good diet, 2000cal a day

      First of all, let me start off with the fact that I am not a professional fitness trainer. I am, however, a very well informed person. If you are going from no activity to this routine, your body might be shocked. You have to go into exercise gradually. Also, you should probably eat more, otherwise you will send your body the message that food is scarce and it will start to store food. The main point is to eat healthy: vegetables, protein, low fat diet, etc. Another thing is that you hit each muscle too many times a week and you do a ridiculous amount of repetitions. Hit each muscle twice a week, about 3 days apart. For ex, do abs on monday and thursday. Do chest sunday and wednesday. Do something else saturday and tuesday. Don't overdo it. Check some websites for actual exercises. Good Luck, you seem to have the determination.
