wondering if this is a good diet plan.
1200 calorie intake a day.
warm up- stretch, running up and down the stairs for one minute, jumping jacks 1 min
monday- 1 hour of workout
tuesday- 1 hour and a half of dance
wednesday- 1 hour of workout
thursday- 2 hours of dance
friday- 1 hour of workout
saturday- 2 hours and a half of dance plus 1 hour of workout
sunday-1 hour of workout.
TOTAL per WEEK: 11 hours a week
food.
1 a week- starbucks small java ice.
2 a week- chocolate
3 a week- a cookie
everyday - strawberries , a candy cane, or a small hershey kiss.
water only
plus milk
and green tea.
i want to loose 80 pounds by summer

It's horrible. If you're actually serious (which I doubt you are), please speak to your doctor and parents about a sensible weight-loss plan. Teenagers can not monitor this type of thing on their own.

The food your eating is all wrong. You NEED fruits, vegetables and lean meats. Why are you drinking caffeine at your age? What your doing isn't going to work. Read my source below for something that WILL work.

I certainly think your exercising is a good plan. I hope you eat salad without no dressing because dressing has a lot of calories. Always eat a lot of fruits. Do not eat chocolate, anything with a lot of sugar, drink a lot of water. And do not eat after 5:00pm or else your diet is screwed.

That sounds pretty successful. That is very good you added some sweet each day like a candy cane…so then you wont FEEL deprived. Good thinking. That will definitely help. Try to aim for at least 4 servings of vegetable. With your weight I bet you could lose ABOUT 50-60 pounds by summer. HECK! thats great though. PROBABLY even more. Make sure to eat protein though cause that boosts your metabolism and keeps you not feeling hungry.

Actually, you don't need to "diet" in fact to lose weight, I discovered this at the site in the box below, they have lots of tips, I shed 10 pounds by taking their advice.

okay ur exercise is good, but that diet is horrible. You wonder why your fat? Anyways, here's how a good diet should be:
breakfast: 1 bowl of whole grain cereal make sure there's fibre, raisin bran, all bran, special k is good too, with non fat milk. You can have it with a banana or an apple. You can also have whole wheat toast with that, remember breakfast is when you should eat the most.. make sure you aren't having any white breads or starches because that can turn to sugar which turns to fat in your body.
for lunch you should be eating a lot of vegetables, and a tiny bit of meat, no more than 1 cup of meat everyday, which is about 2 palms of meat. It's not hard when you have it in like stir fries or have it in a sandwich.
for dinner eat things like chicken, fish, a lot of vegetables. half your plate should be vegetables.
You can have an evening snack as long as it's low fat. something like a fruit, a bowl of mixed vegetables, and or fruit. You can have popcorn as long as it's air popped with minimal butter, actually, what's really good is margarine that's made with olive oil instead of vegetable oil. That's as non hydrodgeanted as you can get.
NO starbucks, I worked for that place, it's so bad for you. NO chocolate, that's where yoru problem starts. NO cookies. NO candy or kisses. Seriously you want to lose weight yet your eating like that/ It doesn't matter how much of that stuff you eat, you could have a tsp of it per day, but if your body isn't getting the proper nutrients or vitamins, and you aren't eating enough vegetables, you won't get anywhere. Trust me, I used to be fat and now I'm not.
