Is it true that low carbs works for weight loss?

say if someone wants to lose 50 lbs would doing low carbs help? if so what should you eat then? I was told after you get to your goal weight then you want to slowly add in good carbs like after working out.

      You need a balanced diet.

      If you consume fewer calories then you burn, you will lose 2 pounds a week. ( If you don't cheat).

      Figure out a daily plan by figuring out the caloric value of the foods you eat. ( Make sure you include fruit, veggies, protein, carbs and dairy.)

      The on-line Weight Watchers Plan works like this too.

      1200 - 1400 calories a day is ideal. Add exercise and it works even better.

      A low-carb diet should be a permanent lifestyle change. It works very well for people wanting to lose fat as some emerging studies have shown. Personally I have been-eating low-carbs for the past 4 years and I don’t want to change back.

      Yes - you can lose weight on low carb diet. You must eat a healthy diet - well rounded with fruits, veggies and some protein. Exercise should be planned in you daily routine also. Good luck
