Download Our Brand New ACCELERATED Fat Loss Diet!

Because of a question I asked, I decided to lose weight on a diet .If this diet fails then i quit trying to loose weight. I’m desperate , im 14 and morbidly Obese at a weight of 343 pounds. I started the diet 3 days ago and gained 3 pounds. I don’t know what happened, I went on a ten minute walk a day ago and I only had two donuts today, those are very hard things to do. What am I doing wrong.
I dont only eat donuts its just an example, like i now when i get my dinner i only get one double cheeseburger and one large shake.

go for a 20 minute walk, and dont eat any donuts at all.instead of a donut, have a banana, or an apple. or something healthy. try not to jsut sit and watch tv or sit on a computer a lot, in addition to the 20 minute walk, try to at least walk around the house, try and find something interesting and constructive, that doesnt have you sitting barely moving for hours.

first of all cut the donuts think of healthier alternatives if you have been drinking a lot of water it could be water weight and by the way if you mean thats all you had was donuts thats not good no wonder you would gain weight like that

A 10 minute walk is nothing. You need to excersize for like an hour a day..and not just walking.

And you'd have to eat a heck of alotta food to actually gain 3 pounds in 3 days.

And you can't lose any weight in 3 days either. The most your body can lose is like 1.5 pounds a week..some people say its possible to lose 2 pounds a week, but, i've done the math and I dont think so.

basically when your on a diet your weight goes up and down like a yoyo, i lost nearly 2 stone uin 9 months just by buying a smaller plate and using that for meals as it cuts your food down without you realising

      You’re eating donuts.

Sounds like you are a lot like me, you’re a food-a-holic. Food addictions are probably the hardest to break. (Alcoholics and Drug Addicts can stop and still live. You can’t “quit” food and everyone pushes it. From “Oh, but it’s birthday cake” to “Oh, but it’s such and such a holiday or celebration.” And when you tell them that you have a food addiction, they give you a crazy look.)

Anyway… you can still hold on to your addiction, but you have to replace it with healthier things.

Want sweet? Cut up fruit and sprinkle Splenda on it. Eliminate sugar as much as you can.

Want crunchy? Grab a pickle. As odd as it sounds, the crunch really does stop the craving for those fatty potato chips.

It takes a bit to get used to, especially if you’ve been a food a holic for a while now. I promise you, though, it can be done.

Make sure you’re drinking plenty of water and getting enough sleep as these two elements are proven to help speed weight loss along.

Have you gone to the doctor to see if he or she can help you with a weight loss program? You might have health issues that would hinder you in going on a traditional regiment and require special things that an ordinary person wouldn’t.

Also, get a weight loss buddy. This buddy would be responsible in keeping after you and holding you accountable for what you put into your mouth should you slip, and also be a support system if you get those late night cravings or are having a bad stressful day so that they can talk you through it.

      GOOD LUCK.

Zach, I’m sorry to say it, but no one serious about losing weights would be eating donuts. Aside from the calories, they provide absolutely no nutritional value. If you’re serious about losing weight, you’ve got to make your health your number one priority. That means that you think about everything that you put in your mouth first and decide if it’s the healthiest choice you can make (instead of the easy choice).

You remind me of my best friend who joined Weight Watchers with me five years ago. She didn’t want to be bothered with weighing and measuring her food and counting her points, and writing down her food, so she developed her own program and the told everyone that Weight Watchers didn’t work for her when she didn’t lose weight. On the other hand, I did everything that WW told me to do and I lost 85 pounds in one year. It’s not the diet, Zack, it’s the “dieter.”

I have some suggestions that will help you but only if you follow it:
1)Consider joining WW, but only if you’re willing to attend the weekly meetings. That is what makes it a great plan! You will learn so much and get so much support, you won’t believe it.
      2) Use this page to help you learn what it means to “eat healthy.”
      http://www.easy-weightloss-tips.com/eat-healthy.html
Don’t waste your calories on foods that provide no nutritional value!
      3) Keep a food journal. You can print one free from the web page above. Write down everything you eat and drink. That way, you won’t be relying on your memory and you won’t be able to say you were “good” if you weren’t. Use your journal or food log to record your feelings too. Find out what’s going on when you want to binge. Are you bored, angry, hurt, what?
4)Make healthier choices. Make a new change each week (but keep the ones from the week before). For example, week one give up fast food. Week 2, give up fast food and snacking after dinner. Week 3, do those two things plus drink lots of water. Week 4, give up fried foods. Week 5, add 30 minutes of walking each day. Week 6, start eating half-portions. You get the idea…
      5) Never weigh more than once a week. Weigh the same day each week at the same approx. time, wearing the same thing. Ideally, it would be first thing in the morning before getting dressed–no more than once a week. Your body has too many natural fluctuations to weigh every day–it will get too frustrating.
      6) The sooner you start exercising, the better chance you’ll have of your skin not being hanging and loose. When you’re ready, the biggest component to fast weight loss is going to be your workout. You will want to make sure you do a good cardio workout every day for weight loss (3 times a week is sufficient to maintain health). Activities that use the large leg muscles burn the most calories. These activities also tone the lower body quite effectively. Think in terms of
power walking, jogging, biking, skating, swimming laps, jumping rope, dancing, racquetball, and jumping jacks. To make sure that you’re burning fat, you need to be sweating and huffing and puffing. In addition, do some good stretches and some strength training.

      7) Stay motivated and be patient! You can find some good motivational pages on the same website.
You can do this. You won’t believe how much happier you’ll be once you’re happy with your appearance. Your whole mood will be “lighter” and more carefree! I promise! Good luck to you!
