I want to take weekly pictures to make a time lapse video out of my weight loss. How do I do this? What kind of camera or software is needed?

      do the "remix" option.

Use any camera, just upload the pictures onto your photobucket.
Then click the "remix" link and it's like a drag and drop type thing. You can add music too.

you can put the pictures together in a slide show on microsoft powerpoint after its done.
To get the pictures done nicely you need to mark a spot for you to stand on, and mark a spot for the camera so that you are in pretty much exactly the same position/distance from the camera in each picture.
      Good Luck
