Download Our Brand New ACCELERATED Fat Loss Diet!

I'm a 14 year old girl and I am very concerned about my weight. I'm roughly 160cm tall and I weighed myself yesterday morning and I weighed 56 kg which I didn't like (especially the way my tummy looked) so I did a lot of exercises for my tummy mostly. Then today I went out with my friend and we didn't have anything sugary or fatty at lunch and before I didn't eat anything too sugary or fatty, just one biscuit after dinner last night. So I did my exercises again tonight and decided to weighed myself long after dinner or having any food or water and the scale read that I was 65kg! I dont know what happened, is it wrong to get into a panic tonight? Is this even normal? I'm really worried and upset. My mum and my dance teacher want me to tone my body and i just gained 9 kg?
Please help and explain! Thanks so much!
Mila

Don't panic and don't starve yourself. If you have started to exercise and are working muscles that you normally don't, you may have stressed them. Fluid retention is common. Being a woman….which you are becoming also includes weight fluctuation. I know it can be frustrating. I myself was on the scale yesterday and weighed 182lbs (I am almost 6' tall so this weight is not bad for me) and the next day I was 187lbs. I did not eat much that day..just the usual. I went to be and woke up and I was 184lbs. So I often wonder how someone can drop 3lbs just by sleeping or gain 5lbs by just going through the day normally. This will be something you will always deal with. The key is to eat healthy. I eat a lot of fruits and vegges. And yes…it is ok to eat sugary things once in a while. Have to enjoy some of the sweet things in life…lol. Just don't over eat and choose healthy. Don't start obsessing about weight now. Your too young and will make a habit of doing it for the rest of your life. A misery that I wish I never had.

First, always weigh yourself on the same scale. Different scales give different answers, and clothes make a difference, too.

Second, learn to love a little roundness low in your tummy, opposite where your back curves in. Even very slender women have curves there; it's a normal part of a woman's beauty.

Third, you have a body mass index (BMI) of 21.9, right in the middle of the range considered normal. Toned ladies look great, and I really like strong, athletic looks on a woman. Some curves and softness are part of what make a strong woman look good - don't let yourself get caught in the "thinner is better" cult, no matter who is telling you.
