      Yes. That’s why it is best to exercise in the morning.

      Yes it does. If you work out consistently- say 4 times a week at least- then your body will come to expect that it will be burning those calories consistently and your metabolism will be raised. It is also important to note that you need to do at least 50% weights during your time at the gym- The more muscle that you have on your body the higher your metabolism will be, as muscle burns more calories even when you are resting, thus raising your metabolism.
