Coffee's effect with diet?

February 5th, 2009 · 1 Comment

I'm not a coffee drinker. But I've heard that drinking coffee will help raise the metabolism. Is that true?

Also, how long will it work? I know that the body will eventually get used to the caffeine and stop reacting to it. How long does that take?

I was thinking that I could drink 1-2 8oz cups in the morning to help raise it along with a normal balanced breakfast.

Is that a pretty good idea?

Thanks.

Yes it does help increase metabolism, as long as you keep it at 1-2 cups.
