So when I do exercises such as flys/butterflies/pushups, my arms hurt alot more (and is the main reason for "giving in" and stopping the exercise) than my chest, which is what the exercises are targeting. I actually feel nothing at all in my chest. Is this normal? Am I doing something wrong? I just started taking workout out every other day after school about 2 weeks ago and this is still happening.

you have to get your elbows behind your back to give ur chest the stretch it needs to work it. otheriwise ur just working triceps and shoulders and they tire easy
