okay I’m 12 and can I start lifting weights/dumbbells if so, what pounds? What are some exercises I can do? Yes, I’m a bit fat (of the looks of my stomach) kind of sticks out. Help!

      yea of course you can.in fact this is the best time to start lifting.
      and you also said that you have a little bit of a stomach,the best thing to do for that is pull ups.i know they seem a little bit out of style but there great for results.
      And for the amount of weight is all up to you.it depends on how much you can pick up.remember not to push your self to hard because you might hurt yourself.jus pick up a comfortable weight and stay with it till you feel comfortable moving on.and believe me it dosent take a couple days to master a certain weight.and also stay constant w/ weights if u take time not lifting [ex.2-3 months] you might lose that strenghth you worked for,so hope this helps and good luck with lifting
