Building muscle mass fast.?

Hey,
I started working out about 3 months ago and i already can see some good changes, but i want to push it up a notch. What i mean is that actually i am working out 3 days a week (tuesday, thursday and saturday) about 2hours each time. Lately i read a lot about working out 4 days or five days a week, with different muscles each time ( i am doing a complete workout each time). Also, i know muscle is growing when u rest, but my question is "Is one week to much rest for the muscle?". What i mean is that normally i rest 1 day then go back to the gym. But if i do different body parts each day, lets say i do biceps on monday, i got to wait for the next monday to do biceps again…is this to much rest? I know Taylor Lautner gained 30 pounds lately in muscle mass while working 5 days a week, i want to do the same. I also take protein shakes, but no creatine. So, if i workout 4 or 5 days a week, is the whole week to much rest for the muscle, or is it good?
Thanx a lot.

There are a lot of different opinions on this. If you read about the Colorado Experiment with Casey Viator you will find that he put on 60 lbs of muscle in 28 days with only 12 workouts total. This is NOT typical, he was a professional body builder who was in an accident and lost muscle so he was replacing muscle he had before but the point is, there is a lot of support for High Intensity training.
Having said that, I believe 7 days is too long to rest a muscle. I’m the 3 to 4 days rest kind of guy with an ocassional 5 days in between. I do a 4 day split, resting 1 to 2 days after each cycle.
And why wouldnt you take creatine?
