I have been hoping to be able to compete in martial arts competitions at any level, and I want to do well. At the moment i am working on my general fitness but am i doing badly?

I live suburban hills and five times a week i run 4.5 kilometres in 22.50 to 25 minutes, the latter on a not so great day. I am 15 and 5'3…is this any good?

I do other fitness pieces but this is the main part.
btw. For those who may be a bit worried - I'm not alone, I know people that I see often who know enough about fitness :D but i really want to get an outside opinion.

Thank you!

you're fine, if you run five times a week then you are obviously dedicated to fitness and if its 4.5 km then, regardless of time (not that yours are bad times) your body is physically fit, and at the very least capable of moderate amounts of excessive efforts.

yep you should be more than good

while i only run for fun, im 6"3 200 and i compete in downhill slalom skiing and crosscountry snowshoeing and crosscountry skiing

your definitely fine, smaller sized athletes have it soo much better than us tight end tree trunk types.

Thats pretty good, i run 6 kms in about 27 minutes so you look to be in pretty good shape.

And as for competative sports, some are alot harder than others, and alot more physical, do you really have to chose which sport you want to play, and then let the sport dictate what fitness level you need to play well at that level.

Like i play basketball, im a national champion in new zealand, and thats one of the most physically chalanging sports, so i had to get a high fitness level. But if you wanted to play say cricket you wouldnt need as high levels of fitness

Thats just from a 16 Year old guys point of view.
