12 stones, bruised coccyx (tailbone). Recommend any exercise?

Solved

I’m a 5′5" 19 year old girl who weighs 12 stones (168 pounds) so my BMI is 31. I’ve let myself go since the start of my summer holidays a month or so ago. Recently, I’ve bruised my coccyx and it’s painful for me to move about too much. But I really need to lose weight, I’m not healthy. The doctor says that it would take 6-8 weeks to heal and I’m only in the first week. He also mentioned that moving around would help it heal faster, but it is very painful to move too much. What sort of exercise could you recommend? Thanks

Suck it up. If you have to move to make it heal faster, endure the pain now, don’t have it later. Buy a powerlifting band and a foam roller, and use the foam roller as a massage tool, and do squats and good mornings with one end of the band on your feet, and the other over your shoulders. This will maximize motion at the hip joint, which is where the coccyx is.
